There is so much to do that you will need more than the two weeks we spent trying to squeeze everything in.
We did many of the touristy things such as floating markets, Thai massages, elephant rides, night markets,Thai cooking school, temple visits, over night train rides to Chiang Mai and a couple of luxury nights in Bangkok.
Even though the sights, sounds and smells are very enchanting, it's still the personal experiences with new people in a different culture that make a lasting impression.
The wonderful friends we encountered on our overnight train ride, the family we stayed with in the rice barn home, and the locals who threw buckets of water on us during the street water festival.
Best of all, traveling with my daughter and building some of the best memories that will carry us through a lifetime.
